What's behind your AFF user name?

So I googled cough names and there are so many different ones you can be.
First 3 -Ian Steele
-Butch Carmine.
Les Darling.
So I am a man of steel who is a darling that often tuns carmine.

I did too. The first one that came up was more Game of Thrones than cough though. John Snow. Then I ended up with Snow Dooley.

What is also a bit of fun is your drag name. Grandmother's first name plus last sweet you ate (for guys anyway). Mine would be Priscilla Licorice . (Licorice-Allsorts to be exact).

And to the topic at hand, in 2002 I just wanted to make a quick one-off post and went for my initials with second letters thrown in for given names. Rather unimaginative, but hey, I was only going to make one or two posts 🤣

yep when I joined I didn't even think that I would be on here many years later and have met so many great people and learnt so much

Seven of Nine is a Star Trek character, part human, part deranged killer drone...I felt seen.

And because someone else in this thread mentioned it, my cough name is Fifi Ivanhoe and I think it's fantastic!
Groundfeeder thinks maybe he needs to licence his name after scenting n7of9!

I joined the CMF (Army Reserve) when I was just 19. It was a Major part of my life. It was also my rank on discharge.

I spent a lot of time at RAAF RIC where I enhanced my aviation enjoyment.

I have always known it to be first pet and street name. Hence 'Marmalade St Andrews'.

A great thread! Looks like there's a few ex-RAAFies among us (me included).
My username is my roller derby name. Which is a play on part of my real name and one of my favourite books.

In terms of cough names, my actual name is the same name of a cough actress (true!) but for the first pet/street combo it would be Puss Puss Madang.
