We have only been here half a day so far but it seems lovely. The only trouble is they have used our arrival as a chance to close down and rebuild half the tram system.
Which is a shame because the trams are so great. One of the things that amazed me was there was no guard rails. You just walked across the street and got on the tram. Not like a nanny Adelaide.

They are putting in two completely new tramlines and doing a lot of work to repair and stabilise the historic Pont de Pierre. It is currently only open for foot and bike traffic. Lines A, C and D are affected around the bridge area. It all seems very worthwhile and is scheduled from 2 June - 31 August. But why when we are here😀

The trams aren't the problem it's the bikes and scooters coming from every direction and at speed that worry me.
