Hey guys,
I've been reading the PDS for a few premium credit cards just trying to determine what my strategy would be when to use what card and for what.
Currently I have Qantas Titanium and Bankwest World. I can't get Amex platinum charge right now, been declined.
My strategy would be as below:
1. Bankwest world - for all international transactions. Only use the insurance in scenarios where I redeemed award ticket outside of QF?
2. Titanium Qantas - all domestic transactions, all international tickets if paying cash, and/or through QF redemption points earned by this card.
3. If I am eventually able to get Amex Plat Charge, to then replace Titanium Qantas completely - from an insurance point of view - OR are there still certain points where you would choose Qantas over Amex.
4. Would it be a optimal 3 card stack eventually, for it covering all basis - as outside of insurance it covers free int FX fee, MC secondary (Qantas) and Amex primary.
5. Would the Explorer Amex be a great alternate to the Plat Charge, given the insurance appears to be just slightly lower than the Plat Charge.
6. Previously also considered Citi Prestige as the Qantas alternate however saw that they are reducing the Priority Pass benefits. Also prefer non Qantas earn as Primary.
7. Can you also charge Company expense to these cards, given you just document properly?
