1 x U class QF36 SIN-MEL 04NOV25 rejected by droid and manual review (J9 C9 D4)

I have found it practically impossible to get a SIN-AU released.

VIP team asked if I would like to consider other options and I told them I was...other carriers.
I’ve found SIN-SYD easier compared to SIN-MEL and SIN-BNE and I’ve only ever had SIN-PER once after many attempts

Unfortunately I need to be into MEL before 0900hrs that morning, which rules out connections via SYD or BNE (or even the QF38).

13th Nov 2025, SYD-SIN QF1 F9A9 success for 2pax! Got the domestic connection in J as well which was no issue as discussed earlier in the thread.
Success for 2pax and an infant on the SIN-LHR sector of QF1 as a separate booking for the 15th Nov 2025.
Will make for a great first international flight for master fletty! 😁

Single Seat Requested P1

30 NOV PER LHR QF9 D4 - Robot Denied

CS Rep requested manual review for this date +/- 1 day and an alternative path via SIN. Won't get the result back until Tuesday.

Initially asked for 2 so robot might not have liked that for other options.

If you have capacity to leave two days earlier (28NOV) or one day later (01DEC), there is still I class available on the QF33 PER-CDG. Never a guarantee of course, but might not be the worst alternative if the manual review doesn't come through for you?

What do those seat availabilities look like for Business and PE?

I can always try and meet my friend at LHR and then at least on the way back to Aus, there should be some cushion to select PER on J routes.

You will have your answer by 12pm on Monday. They always say 2 working days for the manual reviews but I have always found that they have had a look within the first couple hours on the next working day (always first thing Monday if the request is initiated on the weekend).
Just put your booking reference in and it will say confirmed if they approved and if it stays as requested for the whole day you know it's been rejected.
It just takes VIP team 48h to contact you to tell you that the analysts have had a look.

Quick question. Is it possible (not likely) to get a qantas F reward SIN to LHR as in the points calculator it say F not available Syd - Sin. I know it's not likely to be released at peak times, but have had success as P1 requesting J on this route

WP, 2pax, Saturday in September

QF291 - I8 - Approved
QF83 - I9 - Approved

Ended up going with QF83. F lounge lunch > F lounge breakfast

The CS rep mentioned that the yield reviewer was not in this weekend. It's good to hear that the positive case/approved release is usually confirmed around midday on Monday.

Although I wonder if the robot would've accepted the release if it was just 1 ticket instead of 2 (I got very ahead of myself), alas, it was up to the algorithms to decide yes or no for the first pass, with the benefit of manual review by a human as the second pass for P1.

I don't have a booking reference number yet, as I just asked for a release. If it was approved prior to getting a phone call or email from QF, does it show up on my Qantas app, or did I make a mistake by not asking for one 😅?

I guess I can always call them just after midday on Monday to see if there is any luck with those releases. If not, I could take a crazy route from Sydney to LHR or do a PER -> CDG jump, then BA or something onwards. Preferences were given for alternative routes, but I would rather spend fewer flights (and points) to get there.

They will have made a booking reference for you, they always ask if you would like to write it down.
