True, it is so much better but FUIC is still an icon of the state and I still believe we are one of only two places in the world where Coca Cola isn’t the number one beverage sold

But you didn't grow up here, as you said. Fritz and frog cakes were part of the ritual of Adelaide childhood. At the school tuck shop. I hated frog cakes too, husband, another Adelaidian, loves them. I much preferred jam Berliners. I'll still eat Fritz. It's not Devon. It's Fritz. And a cheap lunch again at the school tuck shop with fresh white bread and tomato sauce.

Imagine the magpies if they served the miniature versions of these in the QP? A while ago bakers tried making them with mock cream. . But now they are back in full force with the real stuff in good bakeries.

I can no longer have anywhere near as much FUIC as it makes a mess of my stomach these days so I’ve had to move to other options.
My lad is a chippie and his morning smoko consists of a 2lt FUIC and a Kitchener or custard tart

It’s probably too expensive to serve the frog cakes as individual portions

This afternoon’s spread. Frog cake hasn’t made an appearance but the cheesecake was very yummy plus healthier (it’s got fruit on it!)
Cheese spreads were Maggie Beer’s and the quince paste and cheddar cheese were super yum!

Wait is the the shower room of the new QF J lounge at ADL? If so, that's amazing. Leagues ahead of the so called shower stalls at Sydney domestic lounges which are comparable to the stalls you'd find at your local YMCA (perhaps with the added benefit of mould from the 2000 Sydney Olympics era to boot!)

Yes it is, I really liked the design and there are 4 shower cubicles in total. Also forgot to mention, unfortunately the kitchen won’t be open for another few weeks but looks like pasta is on the menu based on the cooking facilities installed and sauces on display.

Actually regretting not booking a trip to the vines over the June LWE (whatever a WE is? ).

Heading to MEL instead.
