I've just looked it up. Very impressive. Can you tell us what 'camp' you are in, and what attracted you to Londolozi in particular?

@drron you too?
We have moved to a different lodge today but we were at Londolozi Varty which is the cheapest of their lodges but also has a gym and photography suite (important for daughter though she didn’t end up using the suite). We wanted somewhere we could reach with a “real plane” as MrLtL doesn’t do single engines after a really rough flight last time we were in SA. Londolozi does a road transfer from Skukuza airport which is like a mini game drive. As it turned out he decided it was unwise to come as the ICD hasn’t been 100% successful and it would be a bit risky should anything go wrong.
The lodge itself was very comfortable and our guide and tracker were excellent. Very knowledgeable and happy to engage. As he was interested in photography he always was after the good spots for daughter to take pics. We were lucky as for 3 of the 4 days we were there it was just daughter and I in the vehicle. We were then joined by another couple so the lack of people in the jeep was a real plus.

I am sure people have their favourites but I would say if you pick a “luxury” lodge they are generally pretty similar.
