Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

Got a 2,000 for $120 here, but was already planning a sizeable shop on Thursday for long weekend events, so will easily get that, plus stack it with another bonus $50 for $100 x 4 (week 1), a 5x points on fresh produce, plus 5x points on laundry products.
 
Spend $50 each week for 4 weeks = 10,000pts - on 2x accounts
Spend $90 each weeks for 4 weeks = 10,000pts - on 1x account

Will likely do the 2 $50 offers.

Interesting situation and wondering if anyone knows how this may play out:

Just did week 3 of one of the $50 offers above. Had calculated the total was going to be $50.90 however everything scanned to $52.50. As I was walking to the car I took a look at the receipt and noticed one item had been scanned at the wrong price. Went back and they scanned the original receipt, refunded me full price of the item so as to give to me for free and issued another receipt which just has the refund amount and item and notes the incorrect price = free item guarantee. Have now not met the $50 spend despite having an original receipt which acknowledges “only 1 more week to go”.

Anyone want to hazard a guess whether I’m going to get the 10k bonus points after I do week 4 tomorrow? Or more likely to have to email and chase up explaining the circumstances?

If they didn't rescan your FB card, I think you will be fine...you will find out late this pm (if your shop was yesterday) to see what amount appears in your FB account. If less than $50, you ran rush out and spend $50 at Coles ;)

Has happened to me. Unless they connect the refund transaction to your Flybuys account only the original transaction amount is recorded. They usually don't rescan the Flybuys care, hence there will likely be no connection.
 
If they didn't rescan your FB card, I think you will be fine...you will find out late this pm (if your shop was yesterday) to see what amount appears in your FB account. If less than $50, you ran rush out and spend $50 at Coles ;)

Thanks guys. Yes there was no re-scan of the flybuys, just a scan of the original receipt prior to processing the refund. Will see what comes up on the account tomorrow.

Same thing happened to me. The spend that showed in my activity list in the app excluded the mispriced (refunded) item so I was well under the spend target (it was a $64 bag of dishwasher tabs, lucky me ! )

I attached a photo of my receipts to my email and they sorted it all for me quite quickly.
