Business Class - MEL -> SIN

Neither are ground breaking that's for sure, but I like the newer look of the NZ lounge

I think it’s a bit bare and barren?

I also get the feel it’s primarily an economy class lounge given so few actual J pax on NZ flights. At least the SQ lounge has some attempt to upgrade catering because of J class pax.

Since I’ve had access to the F lounge I stay there , mainly because it ihas good drinks, food is plated to order (and for some dishes even cooked to order ) and always very very quiet and that’s my thing - for me it’s a huge plus if I’m the only one in the lounge (or maybe the only one of two or three people). Very chill.

But before then I found a visit to both the SQ J lounge and the NZ lounge covered more bases so worked best. No need to be either/or when it can be both.

Just out of interest, did you show your first class/suites boarding pass at the door of the lounge in MEL? I’m wondering if the lounge might have still let you in given the connecting F flight (as opposed to check in saying you couldn’t go)

“21A is a business class seat sir this way” very horrible lounge anyway.

I’m sitting here in the private room. It is breathtaking even though it wasn’t my first time here it always is so welcoming and luxurious they made me special meals catered to my dietary requirements.

WIFI Is pretty bad on SQ, you are on 9V-SNA which is equipped with the Panasonic system, which is the slowest WIFI type on SQ..

Hopefully the 777X's if they ever come, use Starlink

Yes atrocious. The A350 was better, but I much prefer F than J. Looking forward to my Emirates A380 F experience on the way home next week.

F Emirates flight departs 10am, how early should I get there considering you can check in luggage as early as 24h prior to departure. I’d rather spend time in F lounge since hotel breakfast only opens from 6AM anyway and traffic in Dubai is horrible.

Departing 10AM tomorrow. Can I book massage now or only at arrival?

Since baggage can be checked in 24h prior. I was thinking to arrive at the airport by 6AM. Giving me time to claim duty/taxes back and enjoy the lounge, since hotel breakfast and things will still be closed at that hour. Also Dubai traffic is horrendous at the moment.
