Been finding some good fares for flights to europe and vv on expertflyer. Few more 'unusual' airlines e.g. Qatar, Air Mauritius etc come up eith good value J fares and on occassion from/to smaller European cities are cheaper than from/to London/Frankfurt.

Any ideas of what travel agents can find/book these fares? None of the online sites ever seem to show these...

Cheers.

Have you tried to look these fares up on ITA (ITA Software: Login). This gives a more complete view of the costs including applicable taxes.

If you can match the carrier/flight/fares there is a print function which you can simply hand to most (competent) TA's.

Great, thanks, another useful planning site. Strange tho - put in dates for London-Melb in Jan and came back with Qantas First for about AU$3500. A glitch somewhere i think.

Do you know if this shows ALL flights/fares? I see a good finnair fare on expertflyer but not on here...

Thanks for the help and the very speedy response!

Glitch - Qantas recently redefined R class from being a "First Class" fare bucket to now represent a "Premium Economy Class" fare bucket.

ITA and some other sites have not updated this.

... so that's a PE fare.

Once having found the fare, should be able to phone the 1st of the airlines in the itinerary and get that airline to ticket it

The QF R Class shows up as "Economy" in ExpertFlyer's Fare Results because that's how QF has the cabin published right now for those fares, when they change it, we'll reflect the change. We have updated our Flight Availability display to show R class as Premium Economy.

Also, when looking at fare tariffs in the Fare Information results, make sure to confirm availability of the fares before calling to book.
