oneworld status gives free seat selection in economy but not necessarily premium/exit.

I did not have to pay for seat selection and don't think anyone does in MH J for a standard seat.

Also, are express arrival cards still a thing (I mean, are they recognised on arrival?)

I think there's still a lane in SYD but there was no queue at all in the regular channel when I arrived in the evening, so I didn't test it out.

In general I have found express path a bit redundant on arrival in recent years, although it's still good to have on departure.

For future reference Matt, there is also a rear toilet just after the small economy cabin on the JK row side that is locked with a sign indicating it's for business class use only. A cabin crew from the Y galley (right next to the toilet) will unlock it for you once verified you're a business class pax. The Y pax have use of the other one on the AC row side.
As these 330-300 will soon be replaced by the 330neo, this knowledge will only be short-lived in relevance.

MH has had the Neo on the 148/9 KUL-MEL route since Dec 24 with some hiccups. Not sure when the next delivery will arrive but unfortunately SYD is not getting the love.

The initial ones are set for MEL (as noted) then AKL, Tokyo and DOH. It's then supposed to be one in one out - no doubt head office has the grand sequence in mind. Last one is currently due in 2028.

Were you offered noise cancelling headphones @Matt Graham? I read somewhere MH don't offer them in J, but it'd be good to confirm.

MH provides noise cancelling headphones as standard in the J cabin.
I have tried them on to see the quality. They were woeful, for noise cancelling effectiveness and sound quality. I travel with my own Bose ultra and the MH supplied ones are way way down the scale. Then again, I also think the QF supplied ones in the J cabin are no good either.

Headphones were provided, but I can't vouch for the quality.

My most recent flight was five years back, when the rear business class toilet was marked with 'Business Class only' on a sheet of paper stuck to the door. I'll find out if things have changed in June 2025 during a Sydney-KL service?

I found the A330 business class very enjoyable and very reasonabley priced. The problem that I had is they changed the plane to a 737 which doesnt have flat beds. This was very uncomfortable, also no tv so very boring. Apon arrival I made contact with Malaysian Airlines and complained that I paid for a full business class. Their comment was they were able to change planes under the airline code without notice. I wanted a credit to which they offered me 7000 points. No thank you and ill choose an airline in the future that provides what you pay for.
