Totally Jetstar newbie here .
My status is Gold for Qantas
Note I actually want to go to Incheon
I have just looked at flying Jetstar Business (yes I know premium economy , I believe it is a decent one )
And I get 250 status credits
Business with Max bundle
Am I reading that correctly?

Yes, SYD-ICN on JQ code (Max bundle) is 125 SCs each way.

Thanks :). It might be a fun status run and I get to see a little bit of Seoul
JQ “Business” when it was “Star Class” was very good value status run - it came with SCs without having to pay the Max (literally). You could buy Sale fares and earn SCs. Now the Sale fare plus Max (a variable amount) just takes the price back to the non-Sale price…😔

If only they had the same in between bundle that they have for whY that gave you SCs without making it fully Flex.

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

JQ SYD-ICN return: ~$1960 AUD in J for 250 SCs. Probably the cheapest JQ flight in J ex-SYD.

Otherwise the return for free sale is the best bet, where it is only an extra $200-$250 in Y Max.

CX ICN-HKG-SIN return: ~$1200 AUD in J for 280 SCs.

A reminder of course that QF status means zilch to JQ. You won't get any favours from them for being Gold (except lounge where applicable).
Gold doesn't mean all that much more on QF anyway. Priority check in and boarding is all I can think of. Priority baggage where applicable.

@AFF Editor , just noticed you re-uploaded the status run on the main page.

Specifically with comfort seats, I imagine this may still be an option but given the "new" neighbour free seat option that is more widely available, it might cause a fair bit of confusion as Neighbour Free seats do not earn SC or points.

Agents may misinterpret your request as well if you just ask for an extra spare seat.

Comfort seats and Neighbour Free are two different products. Comfort seats are available to purchase for the cost of a second airfare (minus the taxes) and are guaranteed, while some passengers may be invited to pay for a "Neighbour Free" seat just a few days out from departure. Hopefully Qantas staff won't get these confused.

Nonetheless, I have clarified the difference in the article at your suggestion.

How does the Business Max JQ bundle work if on a multi-flight itinerary, where not all flights have business cabins? Eg MEL-DPS-SIN would earn at the business rate for MEL-DPS, but is the subsequent international flight at flex economy earn rate or business?
