Adelaide Airport soars to new heights with increased International flights inbound for SA

Qatar Airways and Singapore Airlines will be increasing capacity with bigger planes flying in and out of Adelaide by the end of the month, the latest airlines to show their confidence in the SA market.

Increased flights and larger planes for Singapore Airlines and Qatar when flying into Adelaide

Starting from October 29, 2023, Qatar Airways will upgrade its service to Adelaide by deploying the B777-300ER aircraft. This move will significantly boost capacity with an additional 71 seats per flight, marking a substantial 25% increase in available seats.

Simultaneously, from the same date, Singapore Airlines will introduce the B787-10 Dreamliner on its Adelaide route, adding 34 more seats per flight, representing an 11% increase in capacity.

The airline is also planning to introduce an additional four flights per week to Adelaide between December 2023 and January 2024

All of them? Thats great. Sadly their prices of late have meant I've looked elsewhere. Hope that changes.

When did you find out about the equipment change? Love the Q suites. Especially the backwards ones.

Not sure ....but about 6 weeks ago there was a minor schedule change to our flight...I didnt realise until this post that it was probably due a change from A350-900 to B777-300ER. No change to our seats, 3E,F. Double checked our flights on Expert Flyer...still has the Q suite configuration!
