You gotta look after number 1. Why should I be uncomfortable so that others can be comfortable?
COS [≡ POS] does however ...... (though person of size didn't rate a mention).

No and I wasn't either, but did add some comments to try to indicate that opening blinds for a few minutes to photograph things should be no problem at all.I don't we're talking here about lifting the shade for a minute or five to take a photos, or look at the artic or whatever.
UmmExactly. This is why I always talk loudly on a mobile phone in public, fart in planes and elevators, and play my ipod loud enough to drown out outside noise. It makes me uncomfortable to do otherwise and I really couldn't care less about those around ME.
Too much information thanks:!:Although, I am more comfortable with a depressurised bowel.![]()
Sorry.Too much information thanks:!:
This is a topic of its own. We had one some time back - "what irritates you while travelling?" - I think I may have started it. Probably had it a few times.
One of my pets:
"Spending five minutes organising your bags in the overhead locker when you're in row 23 and you're among the first on the plane while the rest of the plane's passengers stand there and fume all the way back up the airbridge".
One primary reason is so that in the event of of an emergency they can see what is occurring. ie in the event of an engine fire they know which side exits NOT to open.Out of interest, what is the reason the cabin crew always want the shades up during takeoff and landing?

This has been known to happen though I can't quote the instances.Haven't there also been a few cases where other pax have spotted problems and alerted staff before it turned serious?
