What cheeses me off

WCMO today was drivers again. We did have a super moon last week and the effects are still obvious here on the Sunny coast. 4 drivers pulled straight in front of me from the left. had to hit the brakes hard for the last one. Nearly run down on pedestrian crossings on 3 occasions. The last woman actually accelerated and I had to jump backwards. Plus the usual idiots on roundabouts.
But the prize went to a woman in the Woollies car park. I was reversing out of my spot and nothing else on the camera. About half way out I notice the lights on the car directly opposite come on and then she starts off, sounding her horn and motioning to me to move back where I had come from. So decided to do a very slow 20 point turn so she had to wait. Wouldn't move back.

But what really CMO now is that getting old I am now too scared to let them know how stupid I think they are as I would likely end up Beaten severely.

"Your call is important to us but all our agents are currently on another call...."

Umm no. If my call was important you'd have someone answering the call within a minute not making me wait and wait.

Corporate greed where they provide less and less customer service and executive salaries growing exponentially while the rest of us suffer.

I mean, who wears reading glasses in the shower?
I did when I finally got to the hotel in the US after about 40 hours of travelling. I couldn't work out the shower so put my glasses on and then wondered why I was having trouble seeing (whoops forgot to take them off before I started the shower)

Ahh driving - never bet against Stupidity is what I tell the learner drivers - dont ever assume someone is going to do the right thing until they've indicated and then done it ..

And never bet against self-interest is what P.Keating used to say..

Getting a very heavy head cold. However positive part on it is , pantry is full , fridge is full. Husband leaves on Saturday for three weeks and I can so so happily sloth and only get up when dog's medicine is due :).
Really hoping all better by Monday :)

WCMO is after looking for a pair of dress sneakers (not sports shoes) I finally find a style I like and no one has my size in stock

WCMO is white pepper - why white pepper? What’s wrong with black pepper? At least with black pepper you can see where you have spread it on your googy eggs at brekky- no more white pepper I say 👍
Because it's good in white dishes when you don't want black dots to ruin the look.

WCMO is inconsiderate parents who bring an obviously sick and infectious child to theatre instead of leaving at home with a sitter or leveraging covid policy to rebook for a later date.

The child approx 7 or 8 coughed (phleghmy as hell with a borderline whooping cough sound) for 90% of the show, never once did they take child outside to get them a drink of water or give anyone else a break. No way the kid enjoyed the showed as they never looked up enough to see what was happening and it sure as hell impeded the enjoyment of all those around them.

Just hoping that neither I nor anyone in my group have not contracted whatever they had. Lucky being behind us and us being front row dress circle we had fresher air in front.

When you get your bills emailed to you and it's so damned hard to pay them.
Exactly! @Hvr - I'm very much a paper person. I need to my bills to be sent via mail, so that I know that I have to pay them each time I clear my mail box, which I do every 2 days. This whole going paper-less concept, I'm missing a lot of bills. I'm not very diligent in checking my emails - just too busy, so having bills sent via email is making me a defaulter :(

I just pay them as they arrive or set a reminder in my calendar if the amount is high enough that it makes sense to leave it till the last minute (corporation tax I'm looking at you....) due to the interest earned.
