Hi Brains Trust,

SQ247 departing Singapore at 8.35pm to Melb was recently announced. I wasn't able to look up the inflight menu given its a new service starting Nov'23, but I was able to find SQ221 that departs Singapore at 8.20pm to Sydney which appears to serve dinner on board.

Just wondering if there's a cut off time for SQ flights where the meal service is either dinner or breakfast?

Thanks !

I would think both are offered. Full dinner and then the continental breakfast option, which is basically just fruit + bread / pastries.

you're right, its dinner and continental breakfast. Would you know what the cut off is for the meal service to skip dinner altogether? I can see flights departing 10pm that don't have dinner for example.

When SQ227 from SIN to MEL departed at 9pm it used to have full dinner and continental breakfast. When it went to 10pm it moved to the single meal supper or breakfast service.

Experienced SQ279 "sleeper service" , travelling J ,in June and only one meal service is offered; either dinner or breakfast. We ordered BTC meals which were served once airborne and prior to arrival were offered only a coffee. From memory the options are fairly clear when using BTC; only one meal provided. We didn't bother to ask if we could have anything else at Breakfast time.
