Can I bag drop 29hrs prior to departure in SIN? (Stopover on different tickets.)

I'm flying into SIN on BA and leave 29 hours later on SIA (different tickets). Is it possible to collect my bags and check them straight in for my SIA flight or will I need to lug them to my hotel for the night?

(Anywhere else I'd have thought it's a flat no, but I'm sure I read on AFF that you can do this, I just can't find the thread.)

Just know that airside luggage storage won't allow laptops but landslide luggage storage will. T3 Changi will have both land side (near the MRT train and CP hotel side , and airside
