I have a Domestic Business lounge pass which I need to use on an upcoming CBR-BNE return trip - due to imminent expiry. I've been in the CBR business lounge previously but not been in the BNE one. Is it markedly better/different than CBR?

I'll have more time in Canberra but if the BNE one is considered better then I might check it out. It will be mid morning visits - my flights depart 1100 in both directions.

Having been in both a lot, I think the BNE J Bus Lounge is better. It has a view out across the tarmac so you can actually see the aircraft, and it's physically a lot larger. The food options, if the hot food is out, are much better.

I was in the BNE J lounge a few months ago and moved to the Qantas Club lounge after a little while, as there was a fairly poor selection of alcohol (IMHO) from the tended bar, and no self-pour. I wasn't disappointed with the move, even though it was busier.

I didn't like the ambiance of the place, but YMMV.
