Gordon Ramsay does this, I believe. I saw this in a news article. I also remember he mentioned this in a talk show, Graham Norton, perhaps?

Link to article : Gordon Ramsay says he makes his kids fly ‘cattle’ while he's in first class to ‘keep them grounded and motivated’
And he is one that says he won't be leaving them his money

Yeh.. Nah
They (celebs) all say that
What about at the destination?
Kids get to sleep in hostel dorm whilst GR checks in at the Four Seasons (reached by limo whilst kids hitchhiked).

Being grounded is everyone in Y .. like Warren Buffet who still flys that way whilst he is a billionaire

In the late 90's I knew* a professional nanny who worked in escorting minors travelling in economy while their parents flew up front. She had a knack with kids and her services were sought after.

* Son in law's sister. Later on she became an EK FA eventually meeting an english expat engineer while living in Dubai, marrying and settling in the UK.

They look like PJs to me. At 3PM Hmmmm.
Though i guess it is past midnight somewhere in the world..

I walked past the Peter Alexander shop in the terminal, melons are flavour of the month if you’ll excuse the pun, boxers tops men’s and women’s all covered in melons.

If I thought a bit quicker I should have asked if they came out of the discount bin.

Melon man in Sydney T3 lounge just now at 3pm. Ok he’s a nitwit but also walking around on the phone to see if anyone looking at him.

Melon head is being ignored and heads back to his seat.

Peter Alexander I'd say.
Nope they aren’t sleep wear at all.
They are an Aussie brand
Island Style Clothing

I don’t personally see what the fascination is with what anyone wears in the lounge.
But hey it’s all free publicity I suppose.

Which just shows how preposterous it is for people to get worked up about sleepwear in the lounge. The only real difference between sleepwear and daywear is where it is worn. If it is worn by someone who is walking about in a lounge during the day then by definition is is daywear. I would focus on his anti-social use of a telephone rather than what he is wearing.

People weren’t focused on it, just enjoying it the same way Basil Fawlty would.

From the QF website:
These guidelines are intended to create an environment everyone can enjoy, so please be mindful of your choice of clothing and footwear when visiting Qantas Clubs and Business Lounges in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

In keeping with this, we ask you wear smart casual clothing and shoes when entering one of our lounges in Australia or overseas.

If the "bloke" wants to ponce about in his faux fashion outfit that's his business. But why bother with publishing guidelines if you aren't going to ensure "guests" comply?

Can anyone see an inherent paradox in creating an environment that everyone can enjoy by excluding some people?
