I knew a bloke who owned an F1 Maserati from the ‘50s or ‘60s who would go for the occasional run around backwoods NSW.Not me in the Czech Rep recently, but it looks like a bit of fun!

What tyres did you get?I was advised this morning that my new-gen Ford Everest has arrived at the port and will be ready for delivery next Monday afternoon, 24 October. I originally placed an EOI on it last November when the new models' likely deliveries were mooted, and turned it into an order in June when pricing became available.
Interesting timing. I took delivery of my present Everest on 24 April 2020, so it will be exactly 2.5 years old and half way through its warranty when it goes next week. Just coming up 82K clicks on the clock.
Also, a set of AT/LT tyres that I ordered some time ago and were subject to delivery delays just hit my tyre dealer on Friday. Sweet timing for fitment on Tuesday next week!
And, it just happens that from tomorrow until Saturday I'm off to SYD to ride back to PER on the Indian Pacific for the rest of the week.
PERfect timing all-round.
Now, where is my big map?

From memory I had the Coopers on my Triton and was very happy with them. The Defender is a bit more limited with 255/70 18s being stock. I went for the Maxxis MT772 275/65s for something a little more aggressive. I am still considering rims with a slightly higher offset as the front tyres are a little close to the suspension.
A little old man like me does not need the sort of aggression offered by Maxxis...
And - I don't frequent muddy environments like you peeps in Vic...
but I haven’t told SWMBO yet. .......... thats a big mistake !Seems I’m buying another Sierra Sapphire, 4x4 Cosworth. I have a cunning plan, but I haven’t told SWMBO yet.
Easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission........but I haven’t told SWMBO yet. .......... thats a big mistake !
