Was he front row centre in F?

Edit: I just opened the Daily Mail link. Yep, that's him. I was diagonally behind him and walked directly behind as we disembarked.

I didn't recognise him at the time but I was pretty tired due to our delayed departure, and he only got on just before we taxied.

Also, I was in the lounge once, and as a poster to this thread am famous, so there’s one for the thread.
 
Mr. Adam Gilchrist, aka, from what I learnt today, "Gilli" was right behind me in the security queue at CBR and later proceeded to the newsagents. One of the airport security recognized and asked if he is a cricketer, to which "Gilli" replied "Well, I was, mate"

I'm fairly certain that he was flying QF, but he didn't head to the QF lounge precinct, rather walked past gate 8, so I guess he either went to his gate, flying VA or to the VA lounge ...

Oh, btw, CBR CL is not open yet for today, looks like no one CL level is flying as yet ... The entry was cordoned off ... Usually on a Sat/Sun, the lounge is open from early hours, bustling, people in & out etc and there will be hospitality staff, but no one today

The whole AU cricket team with their Alinta Energy jerseys - walking past the newsagents & The Merchant at CBR airport now. All headed to the QF lounge precinct.
 
Passing thru CBR airport now, is who I think, members of the England cricket (or some sport) team. They've all got jerseys with the England logo on them ... AU team passed thru couple of hours ago, so may be a test/one-day/T20 match is on the schedule?

Zimbabwe mens cricket team went into the Melbourne Qantas club on Friday morning. I turned left into the J lounge which had several WBBL Renegade players.

Yea the second game was last night and rained out.

they are both in Brisbane for the next warm-up games on 17 October

I saw em in Perth on 10th October
