Looking at CAI - DPO and I'm getting some interesting combinations on google flights including EK from CAI - DXB - DPS and then QF metal from DPS - MEL - DPO.

Do I earn SC's and QFF points when flying on an EK ticket using my QFF number on QF metal?

By EK ticket, do you mean EK flight number on a service operated by QF?

If so, that means the segment is "Marketed" by Emirates and operated by Qantas.

Also, you will earn points but not Status credits.

Good pickup - its actually a ticket issued by Emirates but the flight number is a QF flight number on QF metal - so I guess that would be full points earn then for the DPS-MEL leg

With Qantas Frequent flyer earning, ticketing airline is generally not important.

QF*QF on a ticket number starting with 176 will earn 'full' as you state.

Cheers Serfty - might be a way to get home for Christmas and earn some SC's at the same time!
