Indeed operating a video camera during take-off or landing is against most (all??) airline's policies.

Even more ignorant is when flight crew do it. I'm sure the captain allows it, but what sort of example is that showing to others who could get into lots of trouble doing the same - and what private Qantas info is that releasing?

... Anyway, in 80A/K is there a way to view? Do you need to look at the seats in front of you (79J for example)?
Row 80 is NOT an exit or bulkhead row; I was able to keep my screen extended for take off and landing.

But you have a screen that pulls out of your arm, don't you? I thought all screens had to be stowed? (only referring to 80A/K here as they have no seat in front)
