Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

I had this same offer on two accounts except 1,500pts for a $50 Liquorland spend (plus shop at coles same day).

Used it twice on each account with no issues. Was in one transaction each time though.

I'm considering trying to use it again. Maybe beers for christmas day... Still I'm just collecting FB points with no purpose

The multiple transactions was because the displayed pricing of wine at the local liquorland doesn't match the computer.

Spend $70 for 2,000 points this Wednesday- Friday.

Two offers that overlap;
1) Spend $60 x 2 weeks for 2,000 points
2) Spend $70 Sat to Tue for 2,000 points

In my experience and what I read that FB clearly in general on most cases more generous than EDR.
I'd agree from my experience that this is the case.

There are a few outliers that find it the other way around, but I guess that will always be the case.

Latest offer is spend $120 x 2 weeks for 4000pts ($20) = 8.33%;
or
Spend $160 x 2 weeks for 6000pts = 9.375%.
Will probably leave it.

Does anyone ever receive the "Coles at Flybuys" emails where they ask you to complete a survey on a recent shopping experience at Coles and be rewarded with 50 bonus points?

I receive these regularly and complete the survey diligently but I checked recently and I'm not sure that I have ever been credited with the points - I can't find anything in my account history to suggest I have received them.

Any similar experiences out there with these surveys?

I can't be bothered for 25 cents.

I don't mind completing the survey because my feedback is genuine - the local Coles supermarket near me is a terrible store, aged, cramped and being outdone at every point by Woolies. They have tried to tart it up by putting in the "coffee station" and "juice bar" etc and try to convince me that this amounts to a "store refurbishment". It's preposterous. I'd really like to see Coles invest some serious capital and upgrade the store from top to bottom.

If I didn't have these views then I'd probably ignore the surveys too.

I've had no issue getting the points, usually within a few days of the of spending the 30 seconds it takes me :)

30 seconds !!!!!

Since Coles doubled the number of questions per section and added required 'word answers' - best I can do is 3 or 4 minutes.

Then there are the mandatory 'Do you want to continue for a 1 in a millon chance of winning $100 Coles Voucher'? - OK, FB does not tell you the odds of winning, but it is around that level.

Followed by the ' Do you want to join the (effectively unpaid) regular in depth survey group?'

50 Points just isn't as tempting unless I am on hold....

New offer spend $70 for 3 weeks for:
- Week 1: 1,000 points
- Week 2: 2,000 points
- Week 3: 3,000 points

So minimum $210 spent for 6k points ($30).

All points credited within a few days.

A few days ago Flybuys sent me a summary of my 2021 points year.

I'm not sure if the program has as much penetration as the opposition. The reason being, that I am in the top 4% of points earners in both the ACT and Australia. Most of my points are bonus points (100K plus), mainly from Coles although sometimes I don't have any bonus offers for a couple of weeks. I only have one card.

Yeah my report was very similar although I was told I was top ~13% in the various locations. The vast majority of my points earn was also bonus points. I was surprised that I was so high in their rankings as I’m not a big spender at Coles at all, which is where 99% of my points earn occurs for Flybuys. Must be a very very long tail of inactive/dormant accounts that earn nothing at all that skew the figures this way.

I got $80 per week for 3 weeks for same amount of points.

I don't know how their algorithm works. On another account, the weekly amount is $110 for 3 weeks and that account gets used way less than the $80 one.
