Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

Yesterday I was able to contact Flybuys by phone - they don't operate on weekends and only until 5pm AEDT on weekdays. So after nearl 1.5 hours wait I related my experience to the Rep. He told me that they know they have a problems with emails so just ignore the emails.
But I said on my activated offers list on both the website and app the 4 week offer has disappeared even though I have a docket from 19/11 that I completed week 1. He said excuse me can you wait while I investigate. On his return the answer was that is a known problem with our website and app but if you have confirmation on a docket the offer is still active. I am pretty confident that I will be ringing back at some stage because it looks like their IT system is worse than QF.

As an inside I had to contact SQ because I had an email from them saying I hadn't completed ticketing on an award booking I cancelled 2 months ago. After 30 minutes waiting for FB I decided to use chat on the SQ website -that also now doesn't operate on weekends. I am sure you know where this is going. Yes the chat function sprang to life just as the Flybuys rep came on the phone.

It's been like that for years. The 4 week offer will disappear after the last day of the week, then reappear on the Wednesday (or Thursday).

Decisions, decisions - which did you prioritise?

Just did an old email purge and decided NOT to delete a FB redemption email from 2007. Ah, the good old days - $20 Coles voucher @ 2,500 FB points - from the pre-enhancement days.

Or go way back further and it's $20 or $25 per point.
 
Does anyone know if flybuys->Velocity redemption bonus has been started again or likely to?
I've seen VFF partner bonus redemptions, but used to be good 15-25% bonus with flybuys.?

That 15-25% bonus was around when 2000 FB's would gain you just 870 VFF....so the bonus would get you 2000 FBs for 1000VFF points.

Now it's standard every redemption is 2000 FB's to 1000 VFF. No need for the bonus offers.

All I've seen is redeeming FB's to VFFF are for entries into competitions to win Million points etc etc. Which I participate in.
 
Our accounts still getting different 40x points offers ($70, $80 or $90 one off spend). No interest, happy to keep the $50 spend 4 wk 10ks.

Some odd new products appearing in Coles given some of the 'bonus points offers' in the last few weeks.

Same issue with one of our family's accounts.

Have a close look at the docket.

The 'offending' account docket clearly displays the FlyBuys number on it (so proof we did scan the card) but did not have the 'Congratulations only two weeks to go message.

The 'compliant' account docket both displays the Flybuys number (not far below total cost) as well as the 'Congratulations' section lower down.

As long as your docket has the Flybuys number showing = proof you scanned your card & should be no issue if you do need to get it fixed after two more weeks shopping completed.

But both mrsdrron and I have also had 2 of the 4day offers of 2000 bonus points for $70 shops as well not posting going back 2 weeks.
Sorry their IT dept' is just hopeless.

All accounts received an offer for 5k FB points for signing up to Coles Plus. Looks to be $19 per month with the benefits being double FB points on standard shop, some free delivery options on $50 spend and a free monthly trial. To get the points, you must pay the $19 for one month (therefore two months including the first free month). If one values 5000 points at $25 at a minimum you are marginally in front but a bit of hassle.

Additionally a few accounts had 4k FB points for using FlyPay. I signed this up for 2 accounts and met the criteria a few weeks back and are still awaiting points. I did the same a few months back and received the points so will wait a bit longer - not sure if others took this offer up and have been paid or not.

I got nothing from either side of the wall atm, but your offers seems rather low ball.

I thought they'd flood us with offers as the spend at pre-xmas usually higher. maybe their data says otherwise, or juicy offers not req'd pre-xmas.

Yeah, I seem to recall super-targets last year. The 3000 for $180 is ~8% but better than nothing as, I figure like most, I have some big xmas shops.
 
Since complaining neither of us has received an offer.We used to get the 2000 points offer every week.
However The FB IT is absolutely pathetic. EDR runs rings around them. Points in the account within a few minutes and bonus offers at least on products we actually buy.
 
Just seeking thoughts and experience on an offer T&C. This is spend $30 at Liquorland, if you spend at coles on the same day for 1000 points. (good offer than triggered with a $2 coles spend.

Now I have to spend the qualifying amount on the same day I shop at coles. NB does not say the same transaction for Liquorland

Offer redeemable once per day, and "one redeemption per account per day"

My second attempt hasn't triggered the bonus points.
Is it one per account, only?
The liquor land spend was in two transactions. but activity statement is showing the correct value in one transaction for the day.

What do you reckon the problem is?

Not sure, I saw this offer, but never took it up. was reasonable offer though.

Have a FB spend $130 for 5200pts, nice 20%+ deal, but bought the WW gift cards for bonus points last week, but geez I get seldom good deals with WW.
Think I'll hit this FB deal.

I had this same offer on two accounts except 1,500pts for a $50 Liquorland spend (plus shop at coles same day).

Used it twice on each account with no issues. Was in one transaction each time though.
