Does any know the transfer/ connection process at BRU I will be flying DXB-BRU (EK) then same day connection to LHR (BA). Both flights are on the same PNR however EK does not have a baggage interline agreement with BA so I will need to collect luggage and recheck it, can this be done airside I am assuming I will have to go through immigration to collect luggage. Is there an airside bag drop and a way to get back to the departure gates or will I need to go through customs, enter Brussels and go through a standard departure process.

Connection time should not be an issue as there is 5 hours between flights, both flights arrive and depart from pier B.

Are we sure they don't have an interline agreement? I know the EK website talks about 'partner interline agreements', but those are referring to specific partnerships such as with Qantas. This does not appear to preclude the airline having interline agreements with other 'non-partner' airlines.

What I have found suggests BA and EK did have an interline agreement pre-covid... are we sure that's changed?

I am only going what the QF agent mentioned and initially it sounded odd as in the past I have interlined EK to other carries both OW and *A without an issue. After checking on KVS it would seem that there is no EK-BA interline agreements in place.

BA/EK have no interline agreements in place (it was scuppered because of QR) so you would need to clear immigration, collect and recheck.
