Vinomofo Wine Deals

I’ve been told that Bollinger purchase didn’t track, being investigated. Did everything right, no code used. Saltywings, was it Bollinger that didn’t track for you also? Anyone else have an issue with this?

My Bollinger LGA purchase through VM didn't track through SB as well. Lodged an investigation. Will probably need to wait for 90 days....ho hum

For shopback, I think best to click through via the app, seems to track better. The website click through is a real Turkey shoot.

I used the app, still didn’t track. It’s pretty high end for VM, perhaps a different process? Both purchase and CC payment confirmation were delayed compared to usual.

Any ideas on this one? Normally a Halliday Wine Companion search does the trick. But not having any luck.

Patritti Rare Old Fortified Chardonnay Non Vintage apparently - the price isn't in the WineCompanion listing, maybe that threw your search out. The link below is a search app someone has set up that mostly works.

What was wrong? I recently had to send back another VM Chinese offering (Greenstone Copper Block Heathcote Shiraz) it lacked body and structure and despite the description was on a thin side felt a bit extracted and an average finish for my taste.
Lol - I also sent that back too! I was just really let down by the Dragons Blood. It was a bland offering IMO, very little body or complexity for what should have been an ultra-premium. Maybe a bit of high price bias influenced my expectations too? I

I would say that would have been part of the strategy of rhe ridiculous pricing. Another theme in common - both are made by Chinese owned wineries quite possibly destined for the Chinese market.

Definitely the Chinese factor. I have sent back 3 cases recently and they were not as descibed and you are also correct in terms of thin and insipid. Also they all had cork closures. No more Chinese wines for me. I wonder if all the failed export orders or made for China are under cork.

You're basically getting what you're paying with exports.

Thanks for the tip! I'm not sure if I'm convinced by "The splash of mataro adds a delightful medicinal undertone "
Delightful medicinal undertone?!
I have stopped reading and paying attention to Vinomofo razzmatazz and confetti descriptions/sales pitches long long time ago - it is just an annoying noise to me - only look at the product at hand and do my own research and DD.
