From the balcony of the "Point of View Suites" in Louisbourg Nova Scotia

A slightly restricted view on the first morning



Without the sea mist the view was a little better



Across the bay and visible from our balcony was the restored/rebuilt Fortress of Louisbourg. Constructed, by the French, over about 20 years from 1720.

A bit too much vegetation to get an expansive looking out view, so a few from outside.

Greystoke Camp, Mahale Mountains NP on the E shore of Lake Tanganyika, Tanzania. A chimpanzee reserve - and a serious full-day hike up into them there mountains to frolic with them. I guess I could have stayed home and had much the same behaviour from @Daver6 after a few wines.





And from the lake. My room just visible on the L. The large building is the lounge/bar/dining.

I know it says no car parks - but I don't even see the cars in this beautiful mountain scene - Prince Hotel East Shiga Kogen, February 2020. it was very cold.

After googling The White Lotus it shows a TV show filmed on Maui about a hotel.
Is that what you meant?

Back then Hawaii Five O filmed there at the Hilton, they even had a gift shop.
No I didnt see anyone famous!
Then they moved to the Moana Surfrider I think for the next few seasons.

White Lotus is a brilliant funny show streaming at the moment about a group of self entitled tourists and the staff who have to keep up the facade of serving them no matter how obnoxious they are …..until it all falls apart. Lead role is played by an Aussie. Enjoy

Don't worry about the car park. The aim was to prevent someone who we know has an unhealthy interest in car parks from dominating the thread (he has his own thread ).
