Qantas Business Rewards - lost all my points due to inactivity

Just wanted to get some feedback. I found out today that Qantas Business Rewards had removed all my points due to inactivity (of course only due to COVID) but at the same time send me an email to advice they extended my Level 2 membership. I didn't realise they expire on the Business Reward side as well since the account is linked to an active QFF account.
They could have just send me a reminder email they about to expire or transferred the points instead. Has anybody ever got them refunded?

Apparently you’re not the 1st and probably won’t be the last. You might be able to get them reinstated if you call.

I asked Qantas if it warns Business Rewards members before their points expire, and they told me that:

Qantas Business Rewards members receive reminders and notification warnings if their points are facing expiry, via email and the QBR Newsletter. These messages include easy tips and links on how to quickly and simply earn or use points to keep points active.

I'm just wondering if you received any reminders or warnings by email or in the QBR newsletter that you might have missed? Or did Qantas fail to send you any notification?
 
QBR website is very slow & is not responding. I think everyone from AFF is looking at their QBR points and when the points are bound to expire. :D
