Hi guys,

Is it just me or has the number of status points required to retain Gold incrased over the past few years ?

I remember back around 2003 when I first attained Gold it came out the blue, I hadn't really done that much more flying that year but it seemed the Status points requirement had come down ..

I cant remember what it was then, but now its 700 points which I am sure is higher than it used to be.

Can anyone clarify ?

It hasn't changed for a fair while. 700 in a year to attain, 600 in a year to renew or 14,000 total for lifetime

OK makes sense - I'm on silver at the moment and its 700 to get back to Gold .. but could have sworn it was less to gain/retain either way a couple of years back ..

I joined QFF in May 2003 and I am certain it was 700 SCs to get to QFF Gold status and only 600 SCs to retain QFF Gold status....

I'm pretty sure that the current requirements have been the same since the new colour scheme for the tiers came in.

I guess TC's were different:

From Sept '98 it was 350, 700 and 1700 TC's for Blue Silver and Gold respectively.
