Slow posting of QFF points and SCs after a JQ flight

How can it be this hard?
Also missing SC and points from a return trip BNE-LST early June, after submitting the claims,
"If eligible, the points will be added to your account." and now saying "For further information please contact the Frequent Flyer Contact Centre " I dont have enough hours in the day to sit on hold.

Have emailed BPs and Eticket, need the 10sc to post before the end of the month, to get me to the next bonus .

If it's important to you, I'd utilise the speaker phone option and chase it hard. Based on my experiences, if you persist, you'll get your points via the softly, softly approach but not by the end of the month.

so taking this advice, since id received no more contact, i called up right on 7am and got straight thru to an agent.
10 mins later, both mine and the wifes SCs and points posted.

I’m still waiting for SC from a JQ BNE-DRW from over 2 weeks ago to post. Put in the claim and now waiting

they had this sorted, I don’t understand how it has become un-sorted

I'd also endorse this approach.

Whenever I have points which haven't credited in a timely fashion, I speak to the Philippines call centre, and they always provide excellent service, with the points being credited in a matter of minutes.

I'm still waiting for points & SCs credits from a Jetstar flight 2.5 weeks ago. I had purchased a Max fare.

I take it from other comments in this thread that this is "normal"... should I bother submitting a missing points claim at this point?

doesnt seem to work,
I'd just be calling up and have it sorted right away, just have your BP's, E-ticket ready to email them.

I've just put in a missing points claim after waiting 6 days for the points and SCs from a flight to credit. Hopefully it won't take long for it to come through.

Frustrating

Qantas told me that this was resolved prior to covid but is still an issue. It was averaging 6 weeks for me a few years ago when it used to post (maybe 4 years again in a 1-3 days automatically

NZ based - Currently have 3 JetStar flight claims. My last Jetstar that was credited was only resolved when I spoke to the premium help desk after the 14 business days. When I phoned prior to the 14 business days, I was fobbed off, never mind the fact that I only made the claim after it failed to appear on the account after 3 weeks. Only 1 of the 3 is currently outside the 14 business days so will wait.

How hard can this be to resolve?

I suspect you will have to wait until 14 business days are up and then follow up, before the premium help desk post it to your account

I recently spoke to Jetstar about this issue. They conducted an internal investigation and found that it was typically taking around 18 days for points/SCs to arrive. This was longer than they would like, so they're working now to shorten this time back to ~2019 levels.

If you're still waiting for points/SCs after 3+ weeks, they suggest submitting a Missing Points Claim or contacting the QFF Service Centre for manual intervention.

Thanks - one of my claims was rejected for an unkown reason today. Annoying, however I have emiled qantas the booking and boarding pass so should get resolved eventually

Wonderfull, thanks for looking into this Matt! It worked pretty seamlessly before COVID so if they're able to get it back to how it was then, that is a huge win!

I just don't understand how it can be rejected! Seriously, all the friggin details are there with the booking. You either have a bundle that gives you the points/SCs with that booking or not. It is really not that complicated, especially when you are making a claim which is supposedly being manually checked. It's stupid things like this that really get my goat.

Data point: Took my first JQ flight since this article on Tuesday. Status credits and points posted today (Thursday). 2 day turnaround — not bad. Hopefully this is the norm now.

Had my first JQ flight in over 4 months 2 days ago. Let's see how long the points and SCs take to credit...

My recent experience on 4 JQ sectors in NZ flown in early Nov. First 3 posted to my QFF account within 3 days. The 4th however required sustained effort on follow-up. Initially with a manual claim as soon as allowed, and then by phone after the target # of working days had elapsed - a total of 16 hours on hold (in 4 separate sessions). The QFF CSA that I finally reached was able to resolve the situation in minutes.

This was the Gold match challenge against my TG*G - so now am QF SG for the next 13 months. However, actually flying to Australia seems unlikely at present..... possibly mid-year.
