QF IT system "reliably unreliable" as usual

Had to cancel some flights in Sept I had booked using magic ticket stacked with 2 other GV and a flight voucher. Points for my upgrades recredited within 5 mins and a flight voucher with same pnr provided as expected but for ~ $200 less than the cancelled booking and 12 mth expiry?. Called QFF and was on hold for 10 mins while they tried (unsucessfully) to contact reservations and eventually told prob quicker to call them myself. Fair enough, called reservations and thought would be easy fix....but after 45 mins, mostly being on hold, was advised the system had failed to refund the taxes for the booking and there wasnt any way to fix so would have to remember they owe me 200 bucks when I want to use the flight voucher...

I would not let it rest there, if the +++ was to be refunded, then get it refunded.

Agree. What record would still exist in QF's system that they owed, historically, some money to a passenger?
