He's also join the board as a NED of an ASX listed company.

Basically back to the railways. He was previously at Aurizon (Pacific National's competitor) prior to his Virgin stint, and before that with Qld Government's QR as head of the Passenger division (prior to the Aurizon split from QR).

Thought some would find this amusing, a work colleague sat next to PS on a domestic QF flight recently, in J.... also noted his FF status which I won’t share because it’s personal but let’s just say it’s interesting :)

Seems he has well and truly burned his VA1 bridges, who can blame him.

PN would be excellent customers of QF I am sure, so nothing would surprise!

PN are a rail freight company. IIRC they don't operate any passenger services.
They run the locomotives for the Indian Pacific, Overland, Ghan and Great Southern on behalf of Journey Beyond. Not that it is really that relevant.

Pretty sure PS would happily fly either airline, whichever his current employer chose to use

Plot twist: His boarding pass said Qantas Club Bronze, and the flights were DSC to fast track to QF Gold ;)
