747 Bar Carts

Here's a thought. When the A380s were sent to the desert were their carts on board?

If not we might be back here when they're sold. :D

Supposedly they are coming back in 20??, so might want the A380 carts again at that stage.
 
Mine arrived this morning (ADL)! Looks great, super excited. Had to rush off to work, so haven't had the chance to rummage my way through yet!
 
I got mine on Wednesday, so I'm a bit late to the party uploading my pics.

Mine is red striped (which I love), can anyone tell me if mine is special? Hahaha

Also for those interested my wines were Pinot Grigio and Cabernet Sauvignon :)

My order is still only showing as created. I checked the box that said 'leave at front door'. If I do get a call that it'll be delivered from Saturday through to Tuesday arvo I'll organise for a friend to be there and move into onto the front verandah. It'll be fun to come home to a new toy.

Isn't it amazing how your thought patterns change in such a short period of time. Normally on AFF it would be "I wonder where he is travelling to and which airline". 😍

But currently as a Victorian who is not yet on parole the reaction was "what! he is travelling, you can't do that, oh, maybe he's not from Melbourne" 😔
 
So, taking a cue from Poochie, regarding QF insider information (😉), what’s the likelihood of more carts being released for sale, or has the well run completely dry?

Too little time to react to the (first) 1,000 cart sale. ☹
 
Love the 'subtly every cart is different' line!
They could take that meme a lot of places. ‘Subtly, every flight attendant is different’. ‘Subtly, every lounge dragon breathes different fire’. And so on...

I detest anything woody chardy as it tastes like mould to me, even the smell.

If you have guilt pangs re the cost of these carts, at $3 a bottle you got $240 worth of cheerful wine. I have actually paid for variations of those little bottles and give a thumbs up rating to the Tempus Two PG. probably worth the $12 a bottle equivalent they‘re asking. The Cab Merlot I give a ‘meh’ rating.

My cart is causing much jealousy on Facebook and with work colleagues...
One of the door lock points was a bit bent but the pliers fixed that.

Glad to support Australian aviation any way I can.
