Hmm well that's slightly annoying, I had a look earlier and just went to order but Pikes The Merle has sold out and a couple of the Charles Heidsieck wines that were on sale earlier are back to their original pricing.

Hmm even more suspicious is that the Charles Heidseick NV that was $67pb earlier was listed in the specials listing as "sold out" but now doesn't appear in the specials listing and is suddenly available again at the original $81pb. Feels a bit surge pricey to me and slightly odd.

Re Twisted Trunk Reserve Shiraz, I haven’t received a reply from Glen Eldon yet, but a friend got a reply from GWD who say it is the same wine with the different label.

Opened one tonight. It's good
Feels like a classic old school Barossa blockbuster. There's a big whack of oak and fruit. And it'll probably want a solid 10 years to show its best. But reminds me a lot of cracking a young bin 389. You know it'll be better down the line but it's plenty enjoyable now. Very happy with it for the price. Hell i'd be pretty happy at $50 a bottle
