Trump will lose the next election. Guaranteed.

It is a perverse reality, but all that Trump did correctly with the USA's economy has been swallowed up by COVID. Not his fault. But during the COVID crisis he has become unsound. Truly so. And the American electorate sees this. It is in their face.

Biden will gain power. I just hope that all that Trump was fighting for is not lost. America needs to look after its own, and cease being a universally hated international policeman. The world needs superpowers that concentrate on their own success. Trump believed in that. The alternative is to believe in a wordly cough-bah-yah, which would be fantastic if the players actually lived by it. The West has for decades thought and hoped it would mean world peace. The East has used it as a way to do what ever they wanted but with a buffer from pushback from the west. That bubble is blown. China operates for just its own reasons. It does not respect or want to really participate in that ordered world. China is now a bully.

What I don't understand about this whole push to suggest that mail-in ballots lead to voter fraud, is the assumption that fraud (if it is indeed happening) is confined to just one side of politics. Yeh right.

Trump operates on the theory that if you say it often enough people will start to believe even the most outrageous lies. Unfortunately history tells us that for a significant number of people who can't/won't use independent thought and fact based analysis this is actually true.

Whether or not there is election fraud should be based on fact not perception. Donald is far more interested in creating the perception of voter fraud than the reality, as evidenced by all his efforts to quash any investigation into Russian influence last time.

The conspiracy here is the attempt to setup the belief that there is fraud, not any fact based assessment. If he was really concerned he'd give the states money to monitor fraud, all evidence is that he's actually doing the opposite. Conspiracy nuts thrive (as does Donald) on lack of transparency. Talking about something a lot is not transparency, funding an evidence based assessment and monitoring would be.

So asking China, Russia and Ukraine to help him out in the election is OK, as is Russian hacking of voting machine software and running thousands of conspiracy theory robots on facebook etc but a couple hundred votes in earlier elections that were detected and rectified is vastly more important and deserves the delaying of the election (so he has more time to try and find a vaccine)

He suggests the cancelling of mail in voting (which he and his family have used willingly on multiple occasions) so people have a choice of queuing for hours and possibly not getting to vote (as has happened in recent months) during a pandemic or not voting at all.

Sounds plausible. Lots of rumours around. Guess we will find out in time. There are plenty of signs Russia already has plenty of skin in the game with the hacking, bots, and false news accounts constantly popping up in FB etc with the cozy bear group traced to be initiators.

Totally unsubstantiated rumour is Trump tried to do a deal with China, I'll lay off the bullying over Covid and trade and other things (negotiable) provided you assist with the election, but China was already so pissed off at previous actions and disparaging remarks and the "loss of face"; allegedly that is in part why in recent weeks the "china virus" and other bashing has stepped up a notch from the whitehouse because they refused to do a deal.

Chairman Kim is reportedly in a coma. I doubt his sister (First Vice Director Kim) would make a decision on this issue (which way to influence the US election) in his absence
