Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Today's JD secret deal looks to be 2016 Curtis Cavaliere Shiraz. Has anyone tried this? Seems like a pretty good deal at sub $30 and I do love McLaren Vale Shiraz!

Hi Guys, this was posted in wrong (vinomofo) thread originally, but any one can help guess what this one is? I tried googling but not much luck.
Not much info though, apart from 2012 Grenache, Lisa Perrotti 92 pt and JH 94

Cheers!

It might be Clarendon Hills Hickinbotham Grenache 2012. Credit by redbigot.

whats peoples thoughts on this? I've a $50 off $150 amex offer for langtons which would make this $17 a bottle.
I had their 2003 Grenache before and I like it - but it's a lighter style Grenache - which I like. If I have asked the voucher, I will definitely go for it if it is Clarendon Grenache.
In comparison to some other Grenache, which is richer and bolder.

I bought a case of the Salomon Estate Wildflower Syrah Viognier from MWG last week - for $22/btl it was bloody brilliant. Sold out now unfortunately, but highly recommend if you see it anywhere.

Friends - looking for to buy a couple of bottles (one for my partner & I and one for the rest of the fam) of Shiraz for a social distanced birthday celebration. You can guess which state I live in!

Bottles of $50-$100 are not my forte. My "nicer" bottles are usually ones I've scored for around $25-$30 on sale, I usually lean towards a Barossa/Mclaren Vale Shiraz, but also don't mind a really good cooler climate Shiraz.

Tough question because I know it's taste based - any recommendations for a Shiraz in the $50-$100/bottle mark? I've looked at the usual suspects. St Henri, Meschach etc. Obviously ratings are high across the board, so thought I'd ask for personal recommendations here.

Example of my fav current Shiraz = Gibson Dirtman (which FYI is still $19.95 at Kemeny's as a secret label. Just ordered another bundle).

TIA :)
