Hi - does anyone know if AA is still using FrontEvenBackOdd when serving First class passengers during flight?

There is some suggestion that it is not in use any more. My AA flights last year all happened to be even numbered.

thanks

FT reports alive and well although ocassionally gets forgotten.

Note it is not the service that is FEBO, merely the taking of passenger requests for the main meal. Service and desert, drink choice can occur in any direction

That was also my experience in November. FEBO wasn't done on a couple of flights of mine, but generally was done.

Choice of meal is less important - I am more interested in the order of cabin service - am on a night flight I want to get the meal etc out of the way and get some sleep.

in my experience, service is generally from the front. Orders for the first/mail meal are taken according to FEBO with perhaps some variation for EXP members.

If you want to get the meal over and done with early, and are travelling in F or J, then let the FA know as early as possible and they will generally do their best to accommodate.

I did this in F (via eVIP) JFK-LHR and got pretty good service - they were apologetic that they couldnt serve me the "entree" whilst serving others the "appetiser" but I was served very quickly after that. Best crew I have had in F - and the youngest.
