P1 - no April or May magazine, and no email with link either. But not a surprise as those of us in the eastern isles usually get less love from QF.

Received June printed edition today (with Uluru on the front). A bit surprised that they had already (or continue to) print(ed) it.

It’s a great marketing line on the front cover isn’t it? Definitely got me thinking!

Why are you surprised? I would have thought it’s pretty obvious why they are continuing to circulate it!

I'm a little surprised in this age of cost cutting all over within QF they'd still print it. I do get the mags are prepared months ahead, but I would have thought by now they'd not be printing new ones. Maybe the cycle is longer than I thought.

Personally I flipped through in a couple of minutes found nothing of use (not even a wine voucher!) so kind of OK that's great but didn't really need it.

Maybe the question should be are they, as they ramp up flying over the next month or so, going to place mags in the aircraft? I understand many airlines have stopped (as anything in the back of the seat in front is frowned upon with covid and all).

No mistake wine voucher for me this time. just a bunch of advertising material.

A reasonable read, even if it is 90% advertising/cross-promotional/marketing stuff.

I have received the last 3 months worth of magazines, I do not read them on the plane and at home it seems to be the same.

I did a flick through and what I noticed is the magazine is lighter (weight) and all the what’s on info is missing although this could be expected. To me this maybe a trial of a cut down version with more paid marketing.

Given some seem to get an eCopy maybe QF are rethinking or trialling which version returns the most value/ profit.

just a thought.

WP - June issue received by email today.
Don't suppose anyone would be willing to download and mirror the Jun issue magazine somewhere else it can actually be downloaded by a normal browser would they? I got the e-mailed link too but I can click on the download button until I'm blue in the face and will watch the little chequer board tiles go round and round and round until the end of time, but nothing ever downloads.

What browser are you using. I just used Chrome to download it and its a 221 mb file so too large to email.

Try the Pressreader app (or pressreader.com on a computer) June 2020 Qantas mag is available for free plus back-issues to June 2019.
Thanks for that, but useless because you can't download from there for reading later and since Qantas in their infinite wisdom have disabled in flight wi-fi (because I assume they believe wi-fi spreads coronavirus) on all the flights I take, anything that is tethered to being required to be on-line at the time of reading is useless.

Do you have a library card because you can download with Zinio many magazines for free

PressReader allows for offline reading of anything preloaded. Since the QF mag is “free“ you can download at home or office (or lounge...).
