Are they doing social distancing? I was reading today where Japan is moving away from social distancing now that new Coronavirus diagnosis rates are dropping.Sitting in the QANTAS Narita lounge right now. Very much open and operating as normal. It’s even slightly busy!

So, social distancing in Japan is definitely over.Social distancing! You must be kidding. On a train in Osaka yesterday and sardines in a can would have felt socially spaced. Everything in Japan is disturbingly “normal”.
FIFO doctors. The early morning and 5 PM planes to/from places like Tamworth, Orange, Coffs Harbour, Port Mac are half full of specialists.Non essential? That's just about all travel right?

That is really really horrible news. What a sad time for aviation.Very sad news from friends in the SIN Lounges. All staff have been let go across both lounges. They have been advised there is a possibility that they will remain closed for up to 24 months.
Lounges are being deep cleaned and put into hibernation. Likely only to reopen one initially, with flight volumes reduced to 1 or 2 per day, on smaller aircraft (i.e. no A380).
Such a sad time for those wonderful SIN Lounge staff
