So yesterday I received the latest "news" from QF marketing, and among all the other exciting news was the mention of an "Indigineous Tasting Plate" on selected flights in First Class.... zooming in on the photo I did notice some kind of cured ham and biscuits too....
A strange piece of marketing, in my opinion.... does the word "indigineous" refer to the people? Meaning that it was eaten by indigineous people? Or the ingredients? As in the food sourced for this product is indigineous to Australia (except the ham and biscuits, of course)? Either way it is #confused.
When they refer to their livery, Qantas talk about the "Indigineous" themed livery, which is always about the people. So I don't think they can use the same word to describe the food without causing confusion....
