Hi. I am flying from Sydney to Tokyo on Qantas business. Am I able to access the Emirates lounge in Sydney instead of the qantas business lounge?

Recently I was the first one in the EK lounge when it opened in the afternoon as I was also flying QF25 to HND...

Thanks for the information on this thread - So does this mean, I'm also able to access EK lounge as a QF Gold on-route SIN ?

Yes, but only if the Emirates Lounge is open. If you're flying on QF81, I don't think the Emirates lounge is open at that time of the morning. You may have better luck if you're on QF1.

I had no trouble accessing EK SYD Lounge on August 21, with my Qantas Business Boarding Pass SYD to HNL. Am only a lowly Bronze member,

Heya, quick question : I'm on the QF1 on 19/09. I need to work that day (unfortunately) - can I go to the airport at, lets say, 7 am in the morning and ask to be checked in for QF1, so that I can work from the lounge ?

Update : I asked the same question on Qantas App Chat and the response was that I can go to the lounge WITHOUT a boarding pass and work then and when it's 3 hours before departure, I can be asked to check-in :D I'm sure it's someone new behind the computer today responding to chats :) Best bit was, I had to tell him that lounge is after passport control, so one would defo need a valid BP and passport to pass through :)

They may have been referring to the lounge in the domestic terminal? In any case, QF offers all day check in for international flights at SYD...

That's awesome :D I will then go to the airport early around 7ish and get myself checked-in. Thanks a ton
