Need 40 SC by the end of September. What are some cheap options for a quick and dirty status run? Brutal turnarounds or departure timings are not a concern. I'll make it work.

Haha, sorry. Sydney kickoff. Not ideal I know. I got an email about the QF domestic sale but the dates are all too far out.

Have you looked at flying QF SYD-MEL-LST-MEL-SYD on a red e deal ticket? Usually not too expensive and you’d earn 40 status credits.

Booking a round-trip Jetstar ticket to pretty much anywhere (e.g. OOL/AVV) and upgrading to a Max bundle should also do the trick with 20 status credits each way and, again, not too much money.

Thanks for the suggestions. Ended up going with Ye Olde Faithful SYD-AKL in J with LAN as it was only about a hundred more and I can Flounge before I go.
