@cove and I made an executive decision on the wine. It met with approval from @QF WP, so we had another one .

After a leisurely stroll through mostly empty streets, I was back in my hotel room in 20 mins.

Wonderful night with convivial company, a lovely wine and good service.

Hmmm - unusual being Chardonnay-based (Brash Higgins 2012 ‘BLOOM' - Brash Higgins) and made in Australia - but the Jura connection still spooks me. Was it better than a Savagnin-based Vin Jaune?
