Dear people.
I been searching around for some answers. But i just can't seem to get my questions answered by Qantas themselves.

So i thought i might ask nice people here who has more understanding then i do with Qantas Lounges worldwide.

So i am going to LA on holidays. I be flying with Qantas on a nice dreamliner. In LA i be there for a few days and then i must return back to the LAX airport. My departure flight isn't until around 1120pm approx on a saturday night)

I am flying back to Australia on Economy only. There are 2 passengers together.

So since i have no idea how busy and crowded the LAX international airport is like since ive never been touched down to USA before. I like to go use a Lounge to get away from the people.. so i can relax.. charge my phone.. eat and relax anywhere seats in the lounge area.

I have a Qantas frequent flyer card which is a bronze.. (nothing special) i have approx 81.000 points.. not much at all since i join in many years ago...

I be on Terminal B at LAX and need a good lounge to relax... there is Qantas and other lounges but it seems that all lounges you cant enter unless you are a business class passenger or special high members or something along the line.....

So i was looking at the Qantas club.... i presume Qantas lounge.. and in there i saw that the ones off fee is like almost 400 dollars and then you have to pay on top of that another 300 dollars for membership ? That is almost like 1,000 dollars for just a 1 year membership Extremely expensive.... And i saw reviews videos all it is just seats and some food around but all that shouldnt be costing a new member that much just to join in surely ?

When i go to other countries... i can enter a lounge just pay around 50 or 80 dollars and just walk in.. shower.. food.. seats.. But never came across for Qantas online saying that it cost around 400 for a fee and then another 300 or 400 dollars for member card. I could be wrong but its expensive only for a once off thing since i dont always travel. But i do need a lounge because LAX is very busy place im sure...

Since my flight departs around 11 something pm i want to arrive at LAX airport around 6 pm LA time. Get things done check in.... take the luggage's away... go thru security or immigration area or what not and then in the terminal B. But been there for many hours can be very frustration and tireing because its not comfortable around.. So its why i want a lounge to enter for that particular night for me and my partner.. This is for 2 people.

So i really need to advice and opinions..

Sorry for my frustrating message as you know i just don't no where to begin with this and it is important for me to organised things before i travel.. As i just like anyone would.. no one likes to be seating doing much nothing next to gates... As one prefer comfortable relax.. hot shower... eat and charge phone at a lounge...

So lets see who can help me out as i ask Qantas but they are not really answering my messages correctly specially the actual cost.... Its confusing because i have a Qantas frequent card a bronze colour with 81.000 points but that is only collecting points and it is not a member card for lounges..

So if Qantas club has to be the one at Terminal B at LAX then how much do i actually have to pay ? And what about my partner as i can not leave the person behind.. However take not it is not as if i travel every year with Qantas. But anyways... like to get a ideas and how the system works.

I dont mind join in for just 1 year as i dont no if i be able to go just to a Qantas lounge if i was to travel else where with other airliners... But depending the actual cost... i be surprise if i have to almost pay 1.000 dollars for the whole thing and also my partner..... It be quite expensive.

Qantas told me you have to join in to be able to enter the lounge.

thanks again people

The final day in LA is always a PITA as most flights to AU leave late at night. Just suck it up and keep your apartment for an extra night or book a motel. Just been to Hollywood myself and some of the 3* hotels are around $120 in the Hollywood area. Do your thing during the day, go back to the apartment/hotel and have a shower etc and leave for the airport ~4 or 5 o'clock.
No paying for luggage storage, lounges etc just the cost of a nights accommodation

Well thanks to everyones help. There was some questiones never been answered. But i still thanks to everyone coming in to help me out for some stuff. I guess not everyone knows every question im trying to ask. But it's understandable.

Know that everyone gave me ideas which are good ideas.. One was the locks near by the airport for the luggages... and another user mentioned about a day stay at a resort from traveloge.

So not sure which is better.

I will say one time agian. I be in Hollywood and i be renting a apartment but the owner wants everyone out by 11am or by 12 midday.
So the big problem here is... where am i suppose to leave my 4 big luggages which are heavy.. (i cant carry them all day around in hollywood)
So i thought i might travel on a taxi or Uber ride all the way to a locker near by airport to safetly keep the luggages in there for a few hours (as it will be our final day for depature) Or i could pay for a day few hours at traveloge.. I really don't no... What is better what do you think?

Note that we will go out for a little while to spend the day back around in Hollywood for our final hours, (leaving the luggages in the room) But of course be nice to come back little bit back to the room to relax unwind and shower and call a taxi or uber to take us then to the airport with our luggage's.

Then this is where i begin to check in if its open... since i prefer to get to the airport by about 6pm.. (Qantas flight departs at around 1120pm) and once i check in i like to go to terminal 4 and use that american lounge like some have you been mentioning.

Though i dont see on the offical website for the american lounge at terminal 4 the walk in by paying a small amount for dollars so it only shows me membership information. So need to figuire this out. and proven that what you said is on the website.. As in walk in and pay 58 dollars or something? then i can't find that detail information online.

So.. thats my view how i see it.. It seems a little too much to ask... Its only the luggages issue and the idea of what lounge i need. But other then that its fine.

Let me know people if this sounds good or should something be changed.. Note the reason why i want to get to the airport early is because i hear people saying LA is full of traffic it can take 2 hours to and from destinations.... Figuire that out for a saturday late afternoon trip back to LAX airport.

Again i thank you.. So this is the most updated what im asking for now. A little of help would be appreciated it. So i can then organised all this. Of course there are options there specially the lockers or a day room. But that day room might be a hotel that is far away from everything and thats where it might be difficult for us next.

Youve been given answers and suggestions to all of your questions. We cant help you further. Its time for you to act on what has been given to you in good faith and make some decisions for yourself. The action you take may/will not be perfect but it is now upto you to act and stop asking us the same questions over and over again

Personally I would book a hotel airport (one that has a free airport shuttle i.e Crowne Plaza LAX), and go there after checking out of your apartment, check-in leave luggage.

Have a day out and about in LA,then return to the hotel about, shower, change into whatever you plan to wear on the plane, then take free shuttle to airport about 2.25 hours before departure, drop luggage, have a meal/drink at one of the airport restaurants and board the plane.

You can get a hotel for 1/4 of the Qantas club membership, and arrive refreshed, and avoid the need to store luggage (hotel will do this for free),. they wont care that you dont actually stay the night.
