I recently got a flybuys card with intention of transferring points to velocity to keep it active, given majority of my points earn is focussed on Qantas (work travel, credit cards), but I dont want velocity to expire in event work travel policy changes.

Anyway I have activated a few "Offers" recently - one to get double points on biggest purchase at KMart (shopped online) and another for 2x-10x points for single shop at Coles over $50 (points increased for each $50 increment).

In both cases I made eligible purchases in the published date range and got nada by way of bonuses credited to my account.

Is there usually a huge lag between accepting an offer, making a purchase and seeing the points in account? I notice the offers are quick to disappear in the app once the end date is over - so you cant prove you activated it after its over.

The first offer i got to spend $30 at coles posted the bonus the next day, but now its seems i never get the bonus'. Anyone have any ideas on how to resolve?

The majority, but not all of the Coles supermarket bonuses post within one or two days. The multiple points bonuses on recent weekends might take a few days extra to post given the number of different partners involved in the promotion. Kmart bonus points usually take about 4 weeks to post although there have been cases of points taking 8 weeks to post. The details will be in the fine print of the offers.

I've just read the conditions of the recent multiple points deal. These say the bonus points will be awarded after 7 days from the end of promotion period which was yesterday.

Good luck getting your points.

I have usually found Flybuys reliable across almost all major merchants, and within a few days (maybe a couple of days after the week ends if it's "largest purchase in week" or whatever). The one exception has been Kmart Tyre. Twice I've had my car serviced there after activating a bonus promotion, I've received the base points a couple of days later, and had to follow-up repeatedly after the full waiting time (a month past end of promo) has elapsed to get my bonus points. This happened as recently as October, and despite my escalation in late November (specifically mentioning the time-limited Velocity transfer bonus) they finally credited the bonus points a few days ago after the Velocity promo had ended.

Ok the Bonus Points for weekend shop posted today (promo ended 18th, points posted 20th) but no sign of the Kmart ones from 3 weeks ago yet.

Always good to keep an eye on crediting of Flybuys points but it is as rainbow girl says. Bonus points from the like of Kmart, Target, and Liquorland can take a month or so to post. Posting window is often commented on in the offer. For example my last Liquorland promotion ended 9 December, with bonus points to be credited by 6 January. Not yet posted, but will wait till 6 January.

Bonus Offers that aren't from Coles will take 4 weeks from the end of the promotion to post. This can be quite lengthy for some of these offers have quite lengthy eligibility periods.

I've also had to chase up the Kmart Tyre and Auto offers.

Anyone else NOT get the double status credits for December?

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I didn't, but there's a separate thread elsewhere about it and it seems consistent for everyone. People are theorizing the bonus will come as a separate transaction.

I think this one takes the cake.
4 weeks? Try 15 weeks
I don't remember what this was for, but this time lag is pretty bad.

Just looking back now through my activity and it seems First Choice isn't crediting bonus points.

It's annoying not being able to view expired offers later than 2 weeks ago.

A special case unfortunately. You would have received the bulk of your points for this promotion within 4 weeks of the offer in line with the terms and conditions. However an audit of this promotion revealed a discrepancy in the points allocated - this is a "top up" which brings the total to its correct amount. Sorry to confuse - we should have been more descriptive in the transaction entry.

Thanks for replying so quickly. I've looked back at another thread and it seems to relate to this purchase, which means it's still short, unless I'm missing something altogether.

Coles Express offer
5x points/$1 for over $45 spend, includes petrol.

Seems @flybuys have really screwed this up or the offer is not what it seemed.

Spent $49.98 on fuel on 4 Nov
24 points from this purchase posted on 6 Nov
50 points from this purchase posted on 12 November
Today another 98 points from the same purchase
=173

None of these numbers add up to 5 points/$ which should be 225 total, unless 52 is still coming.

I've also yet to receive any bonus points from First Choice, and it's now over 4 weeks since completing the first offer. They werer prompt enough with crediting the standard points, but the bonus points are still nowhere to be seen.
They've got another 2000 points for $50 offer on now, but if it's going to be difficult to get the bonus points from them I'm not going to bother.
They are certainly not the cheapest.
