I have spoken with the tour operator, and he has informed me that:
Echidna Tours said:
(b) we can accommodate 20 persons, (21 at an absolute pinch) in our “Coaster” Coach, and (c) for you to hire the Coach and Driver/Tour Guide for the day, the charge would be Six Hundred and Five Dollars including GST (10%).

So however many people, divided into $605. Not a bad price if you ask me.

If you're able to get the same flights as me, looks like I may be able to *cough* "buy you that beer" after all ;-)

Hot...? In NZ.....? Surely you jest

Alright boys! Throw him in the mud!:mrgreen::mrgreen:

I wonder if there are any good city things to do in Adelaide for the Sunday for those not attending the cricket. I guess we could public transport it to somewhere nice then do late lunch or something. Like real late lunch. (No one hardly went to the Sunday stuff either 'cos (a) had to get home, (b) late night and hungover, or (c) late night full stop (some of us did other things besides get hungover )....either way Sunday brunch didn't seem to snag many people.)

Hire a car and drive down to McLaren Vale for Vino Tasting/Lunch; it's only a ¾ hour drive back to the airport; drop car off at airport; hit QP; fly home ...

And it's a beautiful drive at that. Very windy through the hills, and very tight/fast but worth every minute of it

Hmmm...gotta stay sober or no driving! I'm sure a taxi fare for that might break the back (unless you fill up the taxi).

.. try Chianti or #10 on Hutt St for lunch.. they're nice...
