Points posting problems post merger (ex-SPG member)

Just doing a reconciliation of my points for stays, all post merger, and all at ex-SPG properties.

Out of 12 stays:
- Elite welcome gift bonus points only posted for 3 of the stays (so need to follow up for the other 9)
- One stay did not post at all
- One stay only posted points based on edtra charges (meal/bar), not for room rate.

Never had this sort of problem in the SPG days. Anyone else having similar problems?
 
My 2 stays have posted straight away, but expiry of my points did not get extended due to these two activities. I had to call Marriott to have the expiry manually adjusted but Awardwallet still reports them expiring soon.

(By the way, could a nice soul point me to how I can actually see my point expiry on their web site please?)

I had no problems with my first 3 stays post August but my 4th hasn't posted.
But despite points being posted there is a note above the activity list-No activity in the last 30 days.

I'm missing a stay from August

Uploaded a PDF of my booking confirmation, to have them email me back saying that I didn't supply them with the information re: the hotel stay.

Sent them the PDF again only to then receive a 'mailbox is full' email o_O

Just tried again this morning.

It's silly, the booking was made through the SPG website, they should have all of this information but nope, everything's been erased.
 
They rely 100% on the invoice issued by the hotel. They won't accept confirmation ... as they want to see total spend and removing the taxes from that. Make sure you send them the folio showing your room # and itemized spend if not it will go in to the Marriott blackhole.

I don't have an invoice, I was given one which I've dumped because I was never asked for it :(. I never used to have problems with them tracking my hotel stay seeing the bookings were always made through the SPG website. What a hassle.

Just email the hotel

One of the "enhancements" of the Marriott takeover seems to be the removal of the hotel email addresses from the website. SPG always used to have email addresses on the hotel information pages, but now it seems you have to call the hotel to get the email address, unless you have it already.
