QF33/34 is currently showing as operating on Saturday, however the flight status details in expert flyer is showing
"FLIGHT CANCELLED 0137
XCLD DUE AIRPORT CLOSURE ... PAX TO
QF21/17SEP SYDNRT"

The timetable on the QF website is showing an extra QF21/22 SYD-NRT rotation for Monday 17th.

The prior cancelled flights have shown people being rebooked onto the 3 existing QF flights to HND/NRT.

That was faster then expected.

KIX rail service resumes on Tuesday.

QF33 is again operating and is a few minutes late on Saturday 22 September. Aircraft is (perhaps appropriately) class leader of the A333s, VH-QPA.

The train tracks are underneath the roadway for the most part. When side by side they are separate.
We arrived by train this morning.Seemed a bit quiet seeing supposed to be normal flights.

And a little of the damage.First from the Marriott Lake Biwa.

The closer to KIX the more blue tarpaulin you saw.

Not the bridge to nowhere in the foreground but the darker green coming down next to the train line.

I'm not trying to hijack the thread, but on Sunday 30 September KIX has closed from 1100 hours (until an expectd 0600 hours tomorrow, Monday 1 October) due to Typhoon Trami.

KIX had only fully reopened on 21 September 2018.

At this stage QF33/QF34 tomorrow (SYD - KIX return) appear to be running.

I’m due out of KIX Tue. I expect Typhoon Trami to have passed, but there seems to be another following it a couple of days later.
