Good result mate...

But I don't understand why the original agent is still being called a dud when he was consulted BEFORE the waiver was issued (If Ive read this right)… The change was (was it not?) made AFTER issuance of said waiver...right? So BOTH agents .."Ron"..and whoever the second one was...BOTH operated within the rules in force AT THE TIME? One PRE waiver, and one POST.

I think the frustration was the reluctance to appreciate the situation and escalate the matter for consideration. Who knows what the outcome would have been... it's possible the waiver would have been bought forward, or maybe not.

And anyone who thinks the storage and privacy-free Skybeds are preferable to the J suites has totally lost me ……..

I understand (now) the OP's situation and hence the angnst. And it is totaly human to take out said angst on the rep of the company you actually dealt with, no matter that they are only "doing their job".

At the end of the day, the grass is never greener....

John, to be fair, I travel QF international almost monthly (actually more than that) and I have no clue what each abominable seat is called :)

I find the so called J suites too small and quite claustrophobic. Unless I get a seat where the edge is next to the aisle, e.g. 1A, 3A and so on, I feel very uncomfortable.

My point exactly. They remind me a lot of the centre J class seats on the EK A380 .. which are no comparison to those on the 777.
