GoCatch / QFF partnership ended 10 June 2018

As per the thread title, taxi rides booked through the GoCatch app no longer earn QFF points. I hadn't seen any comms about this from QFF or GoCatch so thought it worth creating a thread for.

Obvious alternatives are Uber (if your company policy allows it) and Ingogo.

I did not see any announcement; although I believe the QFF T&C's indicate Qantas may be able to vary earn with respect to "partners" without notice.

I'm sure they'd have a clause to the effect too. In this case though, I suspect GoCatch elected to end the agreement - they launched their own rewards program the day after.

Eh, they can be useful in peak hour if there's a bus/taxi lane available. Also some employers don't allow Uber/Airbnb style services on company dime.

The Gocatch/QFF partnership died about 1 month ago. Go Catch sent no email communication about the loss of QFF points, but were happy to promote their new inhouse loyalty program - which is of little value if you despise taxi's.

This explains why I've been having all these QFF points for using GoCatch being deleted from my points balance! Not happy.
